SAMHAIN: ANCESTRAL RECLAMATION
A Two-Night Sacred Gathering at the Threshold
October 31 + November 1 • 6 PM PT
Live Online
There is something powerful about pausing at the threshold between what has been and what is becoming.
Samhain offers a seasonal invitation into remembrance, reflection, endings, and the turning of the wheel.
For this two-night gathering, we'll explore these themes through the lens of Ancestral Reclamation—creating space to reconnect with our roots, lineages, stories, gifts, wisdom and sense of belonging.
Together, we will explore:
REMEMBER
What has been forgotten, overlooked or waiting to be acknowledged?
RECONNECT
What people, places, lineages, traditions or ancestral wisdom are calling you bac
RECLAIM
What gifts, strengths, wisdom or parts of yourself are ready to be consciously brought forward?
RELEASE
What are you ready to stop carrying?
NIGHT ONE — THE VEIL
October 31
We open the threshold through remembrance and connection.
We'll gather for guided ancestral connection, intuitive/channeled impressions, collective tarot, reflection and ritual.
Remember • Connect • Receive
The Veil
Theme: Opening, remembrance, honoring, connection.
1. Arrival + Opening
Welcome
Setting the intention of the gathering
Brief grounding
Establishing the energetic container
2. Samhain / Ancestral Context
Not a long history lesson. Just enough to establish why this particular threshold is meaningful.
Honoring those who came before
Remembrance
The cyclical nature of life/death/rebirth
The thinning of the boundary between worlds as a spiritual tradition/metaphor
Making space to listen rather than force an experience
3. Guided Ancestral & Loved One Connection Meditation
You will be guided through:
Grounding
Energetic protection/clearing
Calling in the people/ancestors/guides aligned with your highest good
Allowing a loved one's presence to emerge
Communicating what they haven't said
Becoming receptive to sensation, imagery, words, memories, emotions, etc.
Receiving whatever is available
Pausing for a moment after the meditation to journal.
4. Channeled/Mediumistic Portion
Offering everyone space to place the name of someone you'd like to honor in the chat. You don't need to share their story or provide details. I'll use the names as energetic catalysts and allow whatever comes through to come through.
5. Collective Tarot Pull
Addressing a core topic such as:
What are our ancestors inviting us to remember?
What wisdom is available to us at this threshold?
6. Closing
Offering:
Energetic clearing
Integration
Gratitude
Candle extinguishing
Closing the container
NIGHT TWO — THE RETURN
November 1
We turn toward integration and reclamation.
We'll explore what has surfaced, receive ancestral wisdom and guidance, work with collective tarot, and close with energetic healing and clearing.
Reclaim • Release • Carry Forward
The Return
Theme: Reopening, receiving, reclaiming, integrating, closing
1. Arrival + Reopening the Container
Welcoming everyone back from Night One; welcoming new guests for Night Two
Brief grounding
Re-establishing the energetic container
Inviting you to settle into your space, light your candle(s), and reconnect with whatever you experienced on Night One or in preparation for the evening
Offering a moment of quiet reflection:
If you joined Night One:
What stayed with you?
What did you notice after we closed last night?
If you did not join Night One:
What is emerging for you?
What goals or intentions are you holding space for?
Did anything arise in your dreams, thoughts, emotions, memories or awareness?
2. Ancestral Reclamation
Ancestral connection isn't only about communicating with someone who has passed.
It can also be about remembering our relationship to lineage, place, culture, family, ancestral wisdom, gifts and the deeper story we're part of.
Exploring:
What does it mean to belong to a lineage?
What gifts, qualities or wisdom may have traveled through generations?
Are there parts of our ancestry or ancestral story we've become disconnected from?
Is there a particular lineage, culture, tradition or ancestral homeland we're feeling drawn toward?
What does it mean to reclaim connection without needing to romanticize or carry everything from the past?
What are we willing to honor, transform, release or carry forward?
We don't have to carry everything we inherited in order to honor where we came from.
And perhaps:
Reclamation is the process of discerning what is ours to remember, what is ours to transform, and what is ours to carry forward.
3. Guided Ancestral Receiving + Reclamation Meditation — 15–20 min
Unlike Night One, this meditation isn't primarily about calling someone in.
It's about receiving.
You will be guided through:
Grounding and settling
Energetic protection/clearing
Reconnecting with their own body and inner knowing
Imagining themselves at a threshold or crossroads
Sensing the lineage behind them
Allowing an ancestor, ancestral presence, guide, landscape or symbolic image to emerge if appropriate and asking:
“What does my lineage want me to remember?”
“What wisdom is available to me now?”Allowing a particular person, place, landscape, tradition or ancestral homeland to emerge and asking:
“What am I ready to reclaim?”
“What am I ready to release?”
“What am I meant to carry forward?”
You will have moments of silence for receiving before being gently guided back and given a few minutes to journal.
4. Ancestral Reclamation Reflection
You’ll receive an opportunity to capture what arose before moving into the intuitive work.
We may address questions such as:
What did I receive?
What part of myself feels like it is coming home?
What ancestral quality or gift am I being invited to reclaim?
Was there a particular place, landscape, lineage or homeland that emerged?
What am I ready to release from the past?
What do I choose to carry forward?
You’re not obligated to share what arises for you.
This is primarily for your own integration.
5. Collective Channeled / Intuitive Transmission
We will tune into the collective field of the gathering.
Theme:
What are we being asked to remember as we move forward?
We may explore messages/impressions around:
Ancestral wisdom
Inherited patterns
Reclaiming forgotten gifts
Belonging
Identity
Ancestral connection
Releasing what no longer belongs
Returning to one's own knowing
Moving forward without abandoning where we came from
6. Collective Tarot — 10 min
We may work with the following five-card spread on Night Two:
THE ANCESTORS SPEAK
Card 1 — What are we leaving behind?
Card 2 — What are we being invited to remember?
Card 3 — What are we being invited to reclaim?
Card 4 — What is awakening within us?
Card 5 — What wisdom are we carrying forward?
7. Collective Energy Healing + Integration
This is a time for you to return to self.
We may incorporate:
Breath
Energetic clearing
Grounding
Vocal sound healing/toning
Tuning forks
Energy work
Visualization
Receiving
Releasing
Integration
8. Closing the Weekend
A moment to bring everyone fully back into the physical space.
Feel the feet.
Notice the breath.
Look around the room.
Drink water.
Take a few grounding breaths.
Extinguish your candle if using one.
Thank the ancestors/loved ones/guides/presences that were invited into the space.
Close the energetic container.
Offering a final reflection.
Allowing a final minute of silence to write.
